Jennifer Young is a native of Texas and is proud to devote herself to serving others and her community. She has spent nearly ten years serving the Brazos Valley area. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Executive Director for Aggieland Humane Society. She also served on the Animal Advisory Committee of the Brazos Valley. Prior to that, Jennifer worked for Twin City Mission in Bryan, Texas. During her tenure, she wrote and managed federal and state grants and ultimately became the Director of Operations for Homeless and Housing Services. Jennifer also served as the Vice Chair for the Brazos Valley Coalition for the Homeless.
Jennifer attended Texas A&M University and completed her B.S. in Psychology. During her time at A&M, Young was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets and the Warrior Training Battalion in Army ROTC. Jennifer served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 2010-2018.
In December of 2022, Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in Public Service and Administration with a track in Nonprofit Management from the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
Jennifer is honored to carry out the mission of the American Red Cross by continuing to serve the communities of the Heart of Texas. Young is a proud member of Bryan Rotary. She resides in Bryan, Texas with her husband, their two children, and three dogs.
